Organization

Okay recently one of the members of our homeschool group has posted that she got us a great deal on getting into Lego*Land.  I spoke with my husband about it, and he was like well we need to save money.

Blu, I hate hearing those words. But, I know that is something we WE need to do. So I set out today acutally to organize things around the house. Mainly, my freezer, panty, and fridge.

My first thought is to make a menu. Not just for the week but for the entire month. (Can I do it?) Yes I do believe that I can.  So, I started making the menu for Oct. writing all these great ideas down, when I realized that I haven't clue as to what is even in my food holding compartments.

Ha ha what a dangerous task this was for me. See I love to eat and going through all this food is a GRAND idea.

Okay that seems like a lot of food.. Well it is! Especially when I keep running to the grocery store to buy more. What  crazy lady.

As I was writing all this down. I was trying to figure out my menu. And, then, I had a Aahh moment.

*Make my menu for only two weeks then rotate them.......Wow was that a great plan or what?  Oh I thought so too..

The reason for this is becasuse when my older two kids are home there are some thing they like to eat that well I don't neccesarily like to eat regularly. Plus, there are things that the three of us like to eat that the other two will not eat..

So here is the first weeks menu without Ty and Syd..

Simple Pleasure

Yesterday we had an home school social at a dear friend's house, and I let my older two kids go with me and Bro. It is always so nice when I can share that time with them.

Ty came up to me later that day and told me what a great time he had.

The simple pleasure to just be with my family and friends..

Where does the time go?

I have noticed that I haven't been diligent to my "duty" to blog... And, I am so sorry...

I have been looking over our home school work and what week we are on, and wow time has flown by.
With 4 days of academics and Friday play dates. I can't seem to keep track of time very well.

Plus, there is a long going on in this mind of mine.

1. Try to stay in God's word even when I feel things are going Great..(which to be honest I only find myself leaning on Him when my life seems all a mess.) Thank you God for loving this unworthy person. 2. I have told my husband that I would like to have MORE kids...(Um I know he must think I am crazy)
3. Praying that my older two kids have good weeks while at their dad's house.
4. Try in to live healthier, eat healthier, and live more like God had intended on us living.
5. Co-op, Co-op, and more Co-op.... I have never been part of so many Co-ops before.. (not complaining mind you)

So as you can see there is a lot going on...Sometimes I wish God would up grade my computer chip.. I feel like I am on dial-up..Really could use DSL.

Plus sometimes I feel the pressure to have pictures ready for you guys.. Which might seem really funny to you, but I love to look at the blogs I read pictures..

On another note.. There is this one blog I read.. She is an advocate for Reece's Rainbow, and she posted the other day about a boy named Dakota. This cute little boy was transferred about 3 or 4 months ago to an institution. The bad news is that this little fellow died. I cried my eyes out. I wish I could have helped that little guy.

It is hard to understand why these thing do happen, but having strong faith in Christ that there will be glory from it is what we have to believe in.

I have also come to believe that God's glory will shine through my own life with the situation with my older two kids. My sister-in-law told me something not long ago that has really kinda stuck with me.
That even if I don't have them in this world, that I will be with them in my Eternal life. How cool is that..? That would be like forever later of course, but forever..

Learnig to lean on God is new to me even though I have been a Servent of Christ for 5 years now. I have always tried to handle things on my own. It is amazing to me that after all these years I don't know it all, and am always learning something new. I love the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength..

Music on the rise

Friday night there was a concert at the Salt House Worship Center in Hortense.. It was a benefit for a young girl who has a Brain Tumor. The concert brought in 2,000.00. What a miracle.!!

However, my sweet Syd loves one of the bands that played there. They are called "Whosoever". I just love that name. But, they are a christian rap group. The rap is not hard core, it has good rhythm to it.

Funny thing is, is that every chance we get Syd talks me into taking her to see them. One of the singers is called Rowdy.. He is super sweet to Syd, he even calls her little sista. And, Rowdy's wife Sarah just thinks Syd is super sweet. She even remembered her name. I can't tell you what that did for Syd.

When Sarah saw her, she went up to her and started talking to her.. Later, Syd came running over to me saying "She remembered who I was".

So Thank you Whosoever for making my Syd happy.. And, Thank you for reaching out to the youth of our communities. Giving them something worth listening to..
Up on the stage is Whosoever

This is Mitchell signing his autograph..Look at her face she is stinking funny looking..

This is Sarah.. Syd looks more normal....Good Picture guys..

(left to right)  Epistle, Syd, Rowdy..

She really had a great time.. I was excited that there was a good amount of money raised for Kaylin.. I pray God will be with her and her family.

On another note.. My other two kids do NOT enjoy Whosoever as much as Syd does. So no pictures of them..
